Innovatum Completes Subsea Fibre Optic Cable Magnetising and Cable Tracking Project

Innovatum has been busy supporting several Subsea Fibre Optic cable projects.

background

The first project involved magnetising over 200km of fibre optic cable, ready to be installed between the East coast of the UK and The Netherlands.

On this project, Innovatum's unique service of cable magnetising was linked with the use of Innovatum's Smartrak Survey System for cable tracking and depth of burial.

The second project carried out in Germany, involved magnetising over 330km of fibre optic cable, ready to be installed between Alaska and Prince of Wales Island. Bringing broadband to rural areas.

Chris Rayner stated great projects to be involved with and highlights Innovatum's ability to support projects globally.
